Does that mean you deem the risk for non stick cookware high enough to avoid? Is there anything else (water proof mascara or anything) you feel could be worth avoiding if we can/want to? Ty so much 🙏

I just found an informative newsletter on PFAS in cookware from a chemist. My take was that the doses transferred are quite low, and that it would take a lot of meals in nonstick cookware to make a meaningful impact. Thanks @molecularspectacular

Good question! I chose to swap out cookware because it was all upside (aside from cost) and based on reasoning - nonstick cookware has direct contact with my food and is used daily, thus high potential for transferring meaningful doses over time. I wasn't able to find any simple studies on this topic, but I didn't spend a lot of time looking. I think that it's likely still a minor factor in the big picture. I can't think of other specific products to avoid, but I will say that seafood from contaminated freshwater comes up repeatedly as a meaningful source. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36584847/
